How to Activate the Reservations Button on Google My Business  

To enable the reservations button in Google My Business you must be the owner of the account and follow these steps:   

  1. Log in to Google My Business.  
  2. Select the location of the business where the booking button is to be added.  
  3. Go to the “information” section  
  4. Enter the URL of the booking platform in the “booking link” field (you can enter all the URLs of all the booking platforms you have).

Set up a booking provider

As we have seen, having a booking manager is very important to manage bookings on Google My Business. So, if you don’t have a provider to manage your bookings, you can choose one of the partners supported by Google. To set up your booking provider you will need to:   

  1. Sign in to Google My Business.  
  2. Select the location of the business where the booking button will be placed.  
  3. In the menu, go to the Booking section (if you don’t have this section, it means that the booking option is not available in your region or business category).  
  4. Choose one of the booking managers and access it.  
  5. Within a week, the booking manager account will be automatically linked to your Google My Business account and you will be able to manage bookings through Google.
