Hello! We are Patricia and Paula, the new interns at Zink Marketing. We are very excited to start this new stage, but we also have a lot of doubts about how the company works, the day-to-day work and we’re curious to know how an online internship works in times of COVID.
First of all, we would like to introduce ourselves so that you can get to know us a little better:
I’m Patricia, I’m 25 years old and I live in Mallorca. I’m finishing my higher degree studies in Marketing and Advertising at the UOC. To complete this experience and consolidate all the knowledge I have been acquiring, I am going to start an internship at Zink Marketing. I am very happy because I think it is in line with what I have studied, and I will be able to learn from industry professionals to expand and improve my skills.
I’m Paula, I’m 21 years old and I’m from Galicia, specifically from the city of La Coruña. I’m currently studying my last year of my degree in Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Vigo, and I’m doing my first internship at Zink Marketing. I feel excited and motivated to start this new experience, as I am sure it will bring me many positive things, both personally and professionally.

Welcome girls! We are very happy that you are going to work with us. It is normal that before starting a new company you have many doubts, we were the same when we started at Zink. We are going to explain a bit about how we work and what we do so that you know what you can expect from your internship.
First of all, when you start you will have us to help and support you before we leave. It is true that, since COVID, Zink has started remote working and to be honest, they are doing it very well. Every day we have a daily skype call in the morning and catch up with each other explaining what we are going to do so that if anyone needs help, we can support each other. We are not physically together but you can hardly notice because we are constantly communicating and during the day it is normal to receive messages or calls just to know how you are or if you need help.
As you know, Zink is a marketing company and you are going to learn how to manage social networks, content, SEO, newsletters and more. You’ll learn how to grow online communities counts to give more visibility to the clients. You will also learn how to organise the content calendars, schedule posts on different platforms and use the necessary tools. In addition, we help them update clients website as well as the website for the agency Zink. We have learnt what SEO is, how it works and how important it is. But don’t worry, everything will be explained little by little. Zink has a wide variety of clients, from architecture studios to hotels and tour operators, so you will learn a lot about different sectors.
