Sonrisa Médica is a non-profit association, pioneer in Spain accompanying Hospital Clowns to patients and declared of public utility by the Ministry of the Interior in 2004. It gives hope and humor in public hospitals of the Balearic Islands and firmly believes in joy as the best medicine and in the potential of the hospital clown as a therapeutic tool.

Queen Sofía accepted the Association’s invitation to see first-hand the important work of its professionals. There were more than 100 journalists interested in following up on this institutional event and the Association trusted Zink Marketing to coordinate the entire event and the relationship with all the attending media.
